What it's known for
Papaya's own site runs an active news and gallery section documenting its season, from pool parties and themed nights through to headline festival bookings — recent named events include a 90s-themed Big Beach Spring Break party and a Paul Kalkbrenner show, alongside recurring pool parties through the summer. Alongside Hideout and Fresh Island, two of the biggest annual festivals on Zrće Beach generally, the club also runs its own travel and accommodation booking arm under a separate address, a sign of how tightly festival tourism and the club itself are bundled together on this stretch of Pag Island.

Getting there
Papaya is on Zrće Beach near Novalja, on Pag Island (see it on the map). There's no airport on Pag itself; Zadar Airport on the mainland, connected by the Pag bridge, and Rijeka Airport are the usual arrival points, both requiring a road transfer of an hour or more.
